Group Classes -  Winter Steelhead Fishing

 

Some consider steelhead the ultimate freashwater gamefish on a fly. The American River is the perfect place to catch them. In this class will we cover important information needed to fish for winter steelhead including presntations, access and equipment. Class will be held on the American River.

Class Schedule

 

Class Duration:
Meeting Place: American River Access (Announced after signup)
Equipment needed: Fly Rod and Reel Outfit #6-#8 weight rod, floating and or sinking tip fly line (teeny 200 style or 10-15' Type 3 or faster), or shooting heads, Leader (9’ 1X-2X), steelhead flies, waders and valid fishing license with Delta Enhancement Stamp and Steelhead Report Card.
Class Fees: $ 75.00 per person

Lesson begins at 10am and will finish at the American River at 2pm.

Class size limited to 10 people.

Private lessons are also available, call for rates and appointment.

Payment/Cancellation Policy: Class must be paid for in full 14 days before the class date. Arrangements can be made for signups within the 14 day period. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the class date will receive a full refund if paying check or cash. A 5% credit card processing fee will be charged on all credit card refunds. Cancellations made within 14 days of the class date will forfeit their full payment unless that space is filled.
