Beginning Fly Fishing

 

To sign up for the Beginning Fly Fishing Lesson choose a date then click the signup icon and fill out the form. Please include your voucher number in the comments box. Please let us know if you need to use a fly rod outfit during the lesson. You’ll be contacted to confirm your space in the lesson. Dates: 2012 March 3rd or 4th April 7th or 8th May 5th or 6th Class Time: 12pm – 4pm. This class is a combination of our Beginning Fly Casting and Beginning Fly Fishing classes that is designed to introduce the wonderful sport of fly fishing in an easy to uderstand format while on the water. Upon completion you'll be ready to catch fish! Equipment is provided if needed. (This class is normally priced at $66.00 per person.)

 

Meeting Place: American River at River Bend Park, use Highway 50, exit at Bradshaw Rd, go north to Folsom Blvd, right on Folsom then left on Rod Beaudry Drive. As you drive into the park and take the first left after the stop sign/bike path, continue to the parking lot and park at the far end near the trees and bike path. Bring a lunch or snacks if preferred. Parking: fee is $5.00, pay at river access.
